I did buy a magic trick at New York New York, which was cool, but taking flyers from weird women in g-strings got old quick.

Habs is what people call the Montreal Canadians. I agree with you about Las Vegas, went once never wanna go back to that cesspool. Not sure what you are responding to though. I was curious on how you became a Canadian fan. If you are not aware that Habs = Canadians, I’m guessing you are not really a fan of them.

The 7 game series against the leafs probably took a lot out of them. They got the 1st game which no one expected. I thought the Panthers were done in the first period when Swayman was making all those saves and they were blocking most shots. The Panthers made a line change in the 2nd period putting Reinhart with Barkov. These are the top 2 players on the team and they play well together.
 
Panthers up 3-1 coming back to Florida. Bennett is public enemy #1, but after the game, he explained everything in the interview.
1. He was bracing himself on the Marchand hit and called it a hockey play.

In reality, Bennett saw the hit coming from a mile away, and gave Marchand a big FU.

2. On the Bennett goal, he called it a light push and said Swayman wasn't going to get back across in time.

I think players should wear a full face shield since they get hit in the face with sticks a lot. That would have saved Marchand because he got punched in the back of the ear on the Bennett hit. I don't like this because the best players get taken out. Happened to Florida last year against Vegas.

Florida played better and deserved to win, but Bennet is a dirty player and he cold cocked Marchand as he was going for the puck, it was not a hockey play. Last year Bennet took a shot a Halliday while he was laying on the ice injured.

Also that was goalie interference, he knocked a player on top of swayman. They got that wrong

Regardless Florida played way better than the Bruins and will be moving on, probably in game 5.

Mary and I were on holiday in Ontario and Quebec for a bit, and stopped in Montreal. I loved it so much we stayed for ten days. I've lived in many cities, and been to more cities than I'm able to count, and Montreal is by far my favorite, so bye-bye Avalanche.

We hiked Mt. Royale, met up with BlazinDave, bought bagels made from scratch in downtown, and did all the tourist things. I even bought a phrase-book so I could order for us in restaurants. The servers could tell my newbie French was shit, but they were amused in a good way, and loved me for trying. I bought Canadians hockey jerseys and even got a hockey puck for a souvenier/paper weight.

I will say that the Québecois are a different bunch, not rude. . Just different.

so yeah, I cheer for Montreal now.

And the strip clubs are like Disneyland for adults.
It’s the most liberal city in Canada, and you know what? That makes it the most fun. You do whatever the fuck you want, no one judges you, no one tells you what to do, you will find friends that like the same, and you don’t get in trouble for anything within reason.
Niagara is probably a distant second.
The fucking right wing autists in this forum would have their city be the polar opposite, just a miserable place of fake smiles, harassment, and nepotism.
 
I can't understand why Marchand is out there throwing checks in the middle of the ice. He's the #1 scorer on the team. You don't see Barkov or Reinhart throwing checks like that for Florida. Most of Marchand's hits are where the player doesn't see it coming, but Bennett saw it coming and retialitated. Marchand is a big dude, but it's a colision, and he got caught. If you look at the video again, it looks like Marchand was turning his shoulder down, so it would pop Bennett in the head. The timing was a little off, and Bennett threw the punch.

He is, but he is more of a Mathew Tkachuk dirty where he is a pest. Bennet is Tom Wilson Dirty where he actually tries to injure players.

Tkachuk and Marchand are the type of players I want on my team. They play with a lot of heart and tenacity. Players like Wilson and Bennett shouldn’t be on any team.
