[Why?] Bellybuttons

After birth, bellybuttons are useless - the only redeeming quality is that they catch stray lint.

As we progress into the 21st century, what can we do to redefine the bellybutton? And are bellybutton enlargements a future trend that will fill the pockets of plastic surgeons?

Personally I think it's one of the sexiest parts of the female anatomy. As long as it isn't an outtie, and/or pierced. Ever see a pierced outtie? uggh.

Incorrect. Sometimes immediately after the child is born Intravenous access is needed if the child becomes ill...

You can cannulate the vein in the umbilicus for intravenous access.

The more you know.

Since larger bellies seem to be the fashion trend as of late, I don't see why larger belly buttons wouldn't follow suit.
