So the New GIFS thread was what was crashing the DB every morning @ 1AM?

no but i was looking over the slow query log and it was showing up a lot for browsing and updating, more than any other thread recently. it's a known issue with large threads which is why i don't like mega threads.

the twitter/facebook update sql for most active thread of the day was actually what was locking the db at 1am.
