Overclocking the refresh rate of LCD/LED monitors

i used to get eye strain and headaches from 60hz gaming. i wouldn't play at less than 85hz. it is much smoother and soothing for the eyes.

Human eye can't detect the difference after 60fps.

derp

hahahaha

WTF 1998 called and wants it dumb fuck argument back

My camera flash is 1/1000 of a second how can I possibly see it???
(this has nothing to do with having herpes)

I wonder if I can overclock the refresh rate to make resolutions higher than native more focused.

FPS is tied to refresh rates. If you're getting 70 FPS on a 60Hz monitor you don't see the extra 10 FPS (from what I understand anyway).

So I could see the use for it for those with PCs that get FPS that high.
didnt people stop thinking this in 1999
